Library Rules

- Maintain complete silence inside the library.
- Keep mobile phones on silent mode. Phone calls are not permitted.
- Eating, drinking, and smoking are strictly prohibited.
- Respect library property and fellow users.
- A valid Library Card is mandatory for borrowing books.
- Students may borrow up to 3 books.
- Faculty members may borrow up to 5 books.
- Books are issued for 14 days and may be renewed if not reserved.
- Books must be returned on or before the due date to avoid penalties.
- Reference books and journals are for library use only.
- Digital resources must be used strictly for academic purposes.
- Users must comply with copyright regulations.
- Library computers are intended only for study and research.
- Keep noise to a minimum.
- Do not reserve seats.
- Do not leave personal belongings unattended.
- The library is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Handle books carefully.
- Do not write, underline, fold pages, or damage books.
- Lost or damaged books must be replaced or paid for.
- Library staff are available to assist users.
- Photocopying and printing services are available at nominal charges.
- Users must observe copyright regulations while photocopying materials.
- All users must follow library rules and staff instructions.
- Violation of library rules may lead to suspension of library privileges or disciplinary action.
